Week 2, Day 5 Part 1: It's still a work in progress

I had a productive day yesterday, just not with this blog.  I actually had 2 freelance jobs that I had to finish up, then off to the eye doctor for both my kids....can I just say I love <3 that we have insurance to cover that?  I only had to pay 10% of the total cost for the appointments and 2 new pairs of glasses.  

So I started working on the fleur-de-lis graphic and had a hard time getting the curves just right -- I can be a little anal about these things!  I was awfully tempted to go and find some clip art.  My conscious and desire to learn made me decide agains it.  After all, this is a creative journey and I won't learn by cheating!  

I'm working on it now, but wanted to go ahead and post what I have, and I'll add a Part 2 post when I finish.
