Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given to you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now, and perhaps without even knowing it, you will live along some distant day into the answers. - Rainer Maria Rilke

Week 2, Day 5 Part 2: Variations on a Fleur De Lis

I've been working with a Fleur De Lis this week and today (really yesterday) was the day for developing a graphic image.  Once I got the image down, the rest was a lot of fun.

The Final Graphic:

After adding gradients to the image in Illustrator,
I took the vector image into Photoshop, and applied color,
highlighting, a drop shadow and a color filter.

The Graphic Process:

The basic shape in Illustrator, which was
based on the painting from Tuesday.

In Illustrator, the shapes are divided
into pieces for blocks of color.
